After my friend Chris talked to me more about he
feels like he's "falling out" with God. I realized I am too.
It's difficult to follow God when you're enjoying spring
break doing anything you want. Depsite how tired i was
this morning, the sermon was reaaalllyyy good. it was
about judging people, and even though that's not something
i do.
but our pastor also talked about evaluating our lives.
:] which is something everyone needs to stop and do sometimes/often.
And it's really hard for me to read the bible. so i'm going to find
something i could read today. I like proverbs, so i'll start there. :)
Proverbs 16:1-4
16:1 The intentions of the heart belong to a man, but the answer of the tongue comes from the Lord. 2 All a person’s ways seem right in his own opinion, but the Lord evaluates the motives. 3 Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established. 4 The Lord works everything for its own ends – even the wicked for the day of disaster.
I really like what this is saying.
but this is kindof hard for me to put into my own words. haha.
I think this is good to reflect on, for anyone who reads.
i just kinda come across these passages on bible.org.
i don't really know where to start. comment any good verses/passages/parables(:
PRAYER:
Dear Lord,
Thank You for all the things i have been blessed with.
I'm Glad for the terrific spring break and family i have(:
Amen.
